Class Groups for 2025

Please add a note on your application to state which instrument you will be playing and whether you will be using backing track. Jazz entries to be timetabled with appropriate Instrument or Mixed Ensembles classes. Note: Piano and Guitar entries are on 15th March, all other instruments and ensembles on 22nd March.
Any material from Trinity or ABRSM Jazz syllabuses may be performed. Pieces of own choosing may be played as long as they are of a similar standard to the grade stated for that class. Please provide & perform with a backing track where the grade piece requires it (CD player with auxilliary 3.5mm jack input will be provided).
Also, if you are performing on any instrument powered from mains or amplified, our insurance insists that "Each piece of equipment and associated cable" must be PAT tested.

All Jazz entries will be timetabled with the appropriate Instrumental Section - so please do tell us which instrument you are playing, and note the date of that Section (Piano & Guitars are held at Durlston School on 15th March, other instruments at Arnewood on 22nd March).
