VERY NEW FOR 2019: JAZZ SECTION
Please have a look at our new Jazz Section syllabus that has been added in January 2019. We are excited to offer this and hope that you will enjoy taking part or coming to listen!
NEW FOR 2019: PERFORMANCE PLATFORM classes.
These replace our open classes. There is no adjudication in these classes - just the chance to perform a piece you love, and you'll receive a certificate for taking part.
If you are not comfortable performing in front of our friendly adjudicators or don't want feedback or grading on your performance, then this is for you.
Junior Performance Platform classes are for those of school age. Adult Performance Platform classes for those 18 years or older.
As with all our classes, we arrange the event based on the numbers taking part and therefore reserve the right to timetable the Performance Platform class within the section as it appears on the syllabus, OR to group Performance Platform classes from different sections of the syllabus all together (with a bigger audience), subject to space and timings.
NEW FOR 2019: No more 'mixed-grade' solo classes! You may well perform with others in different grades but you will be adjudicated only against others in the same grade as you.
NEW FOR 2019: On-line entry! Please go to the Syllabus page on the website and select the class that you wish to enter. Remember to keep your reference number and use it when making payment. There is still a paper form for those who do not wish to enter on-line.
